Sanqin guards Capital Chang’an
Look five ferry-places into the distance in mist and clouds
To you with parting of tender regards
Both of us are officials and far away from our hometown
There are bosom friends all over the world, here and there
And just like my neighbors on skyline
On the branch road don’t cry
As the children towelling tears
