Seeing The Young Sometimes Pains Poem by Shalom Freedman

Seeing The Young Sometimes Pains

SEEING THE YOUNG SOMETIMES PAINS

Seeing the young sometimes pains
Their lightness their eagerness
The ease of their laughter
How they effortlessly move
In a world they are making their own.

Seeing the young pains
And these old bones ache
At all the life
Never to be had again.
