Seek The Divine Light Poem by RAJ NANDY

Seek The Divine Light

SEEK THE DIVINE LIGHT

Let us not become puffed-up with pride
of our happy days,
And our worldly success leading us to
arrogant ways;
Driving us away from Him, to go astray!
For sorrow, like our shadow always lurks
behind,
Lying in wait for an opportune time to
strike!
And the moment we turn our back to block
the Divine Light,
That sorrowful shadow leaps up right in front
of our eyes!
To loom large and cross our pathway,
Where it would certainly love to stay!

Let us not trample that shadow on our
path,
And never permit it up front, or to become
larger than life!
Let us with our humility, love, devotion,
and faith,
Always keep that shadow way behind!
