Segragated Truth Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Segragated Truth

Rating: 5.0

When we are going to sleep
How many secrets carry with us
Encaging in mind hiding to others
Leave a day dignity with honesty

Loving and living akin
Packing life together in a room
Words in a struggle
Between heart and mind
Play a game but relatively frank

In a segregated space
Having a concrete meaning to a word
Deceiving each other
Going to sleep forever
Carrying secrets with us
No one knows
No one use of it
Even it is revealed perhaps

Perfect words with created meanings
In reality a deep silent
A gap and a vacuum
Without a relief
Forever blind

To be a human being
Within a world living in a room
To be honest
Could it be the truth?
