Self Destruction Poem by Phil Soar

Self Destruction

I wandered through a field of self destruction
Where all my many doubts were stored in bales of fear
And through it all my depth of evolution
Has followed me in life from year to year

I'd blame it all on astronomic sequences
At least my horoscope points to that fact
I've tried to overcome the sad thoughts frequently
And tried to keep the positive thoughts intact

And yet I wander aimlessly through mindless rot
The images that fill my every day
I'm stuck with lots of rubbish and I've lost the plot
That make me feel that I should run away
