Sempiternal Love Poem by Shweta Patke

Sempiternal Love

Ocean sundered by the sand
Is that seam water or land
Melee, spoony or numinous fetter
Should I call it a drift?
Or a bond is better

Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand

An ebullient ridge respiting on the earths bed
Canorous jubilation by the sand
Ineffable frission of the waves

Lost love, love gained
Lost love, love gained

Sun standing far away stolid
Preternaturally burning yet vapid
Chaste love sunk in oceans arm

Sure to rise, but cause no harm
Sure to rise, but cause no harm
