Senryu: Eyes Still Flicker

I lie down eyes shut,
my body and thoughts quiet.
My eyes still flicker!

Thanks for reading and sharing. I had not heard of senryu but yeah it does seem to be that and not haiku. Do you know of any good senryu poets?

Senryū Karai was the one who gave name to this poetic form.. Try The Haiku Society of America for senryu, too. The Canadian George Swede is a good haiku & senryu poet Ciao

interesting write, Kyle, but it's not on 'Nature'.. rather on 'Human nature'.. Thus I would label it as a senryu, not haiku Thanks for sharing Cheers
