Seperate Worlds Poem by Brianna Trombley

Seperate Worlds

Rating: 5.0

He lives in a world
Absent of light
Darkness overtaking
All aspects of his life

Little in life
Makes him feel joy
Its been this way
Since he was a boy

His deep black hair
And dark brown eyes
Hiding his pain
Holding back cries

He’s always judged
Misunderstood completely
Who he is
He hides discretely

He’s quite at school
With no ones he speaks
Although deep down
Her love he seeks

She lives in a world
Bright as the day
Energetic and happy
So much to say

Long brown hair
Hazel eyes, soft skin
Warm smile
That invites you in

She’s beautiful
Smart and sweet
On top of that
An amazing athlete

Countless friends
She’s loved by all
However, under his spell
She soon will fall

He’s drawn to her
She’s intrigued by him
Both hanging at
The end of loves limb

However, the separate worlds
In which they live
Holds them apart
With no give

Her friends her family
Would never approve
So her love for him
She must subdue

He understands
Why she hesitates
Wishing, longing
One day she’ll escape

They look at each other
With a grin
The only ones knowing
The feelings within

Forever it shall
be that way
Secret longing
Day by day

A great work, .... removing all social discrimination and giving hope to unite worlds and share love and sorrow... keep itup..., of course, Love is Blind :)

Painful love. Romeo and Juliet esque. But that's why they love each other, because they are both the complete opposite of each other. Your a good poet.

beautiful poem in short verses...wonderfully exposes the vagaries of human mind...’one of them only knows’...how true! ...ten for you, Brianna...
