I look into your eyes to see a sunrise.
We look into each other to find bluer skies.
It's taking me by surprise, it's not lies
when I'm lying next to you and you're sighing.

And, we feel comfortable in not hiding.
There's no denying when were confiding,
It's a safe place in your arms.

And you're wrapped around me
like a shield protecting me from harm.
It's safe inside our hearts and maybe our heads too.
But, I'd rather make a day of wasting away instead,
and be here with you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It came to me today when I started to think of how comfortable life can get when in the presence of certain people and how it compares to those you can't really open up to or be yourself with as much.

Wonderfully expressed 'Bunny! Just absolutely awesome! Thanks for sharing. This is definitely a 10' in my opinion.
