Set To Blaze Red Poem by Tyler Burke

Set To Blaze Red

I heard the sparks
And saw the blaze.
That's how it starts.
A black pillowed maze.

Forced to think so fast so quick,
The blaze will come to give a lick.
Your mind will race, but you will pace,
As you watch your life set to blaze red.

Run from it is not an option,
or lose your house, and go up for adoption.
I see this scene stuck in my head,
As I watch my house set to blaze red.

You versus flames, it's one v one,
One mistake and you'll be done.
You fight your glory, and hunt your fear,
So hot with pain yet not a tear.

That fire burning in your eyes,
It came for you and all your lies.
Will you beat it? Its in your head,
The arsonist will set to blaze red.
