Settle Warrior In The Snow Poem by Jasmine Sigler

Settle Warrior In The Snow

Settle warrior in the snow
My river let it flow
In heart and soul
Yet to sight no trail
The starlight he so nobly stole
A moon went dark
With brightest star
How true, love did fail!
Such despair has traveled far
Through life and death
When with my knight no breath
Make me wish for golden trees
No? Wings of eternity abandon
As I leave a funeral not looking
For pearly bows knotted on leaves
If their wings cannot reach him
Nor caring for another starless morn
If love cannot light me again
