Settling Quietly Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Settling Quietly

Squelching the need to cry in reminiscence,
tears welling in corners of eyes, trying
not to be recognized right now in the midst
of a crowd of people.
Slowly floating down rivers, calmly settling
into a mode of quiet solace.
