Seven Sins Against Donkeys Poem by Saiom Shriver

Seven Sins Against Donkeys

Donkeys have been forced to carry arms and war supplies in Afghanistan, often plunging to their deaths over mountainsides.
In many places, donkeys have frequently died of heart attacks from exhaustion.
They have been shot to death at Israeli checkpoints,
deliberately infected in a Brazilan and other universities,
murdered and eaten in Kenya,
singled out and pummeled by crowds in Spain
whipped and beaten, everywhere they suffer pain.
