Sexual Side Poem by Vallerie Lobell

Sexual Side

Rating: 5.0

I have been weighed in the balances and been found deficient,
Daniel has once again read the writing on the wall,
For I have been painting myself insufficient,
The time has come for me to stand tall,

I am not a prude and I don't look or feel my age,
Because you cannot see or touch me,
You got the wrong pic Dr. Sage,
Things aren't what they seem to be,

I have desires and many who would meet them,
The necessary love must be there,
I'd not have my puposes then just to defeat them,
To myself I have to be fair,

So the sexual side of me has caused you to wonder,
I want to let you know and will find the words,
Beneath the Mama and Granny what is under?
So the woman inside can be heard,

Be that as it may, my poems never mention,
The woman you feel is just fat and graying,
How much should I say to catch your attention,
With comments that we keep relaying,

How much of my sensuality to bare on a page,
Is the most difficult task thus far,
Nevertheless, my minds engaged,
And you know who you are,

Vallerie, this is a wonderful poem. I am feeling exactly what you're saying here. If only men could get what we mean, for we can't be sexual unless the head and heart are aligned! Great poem here..... Humber Girl x
