Shades Of Betrayal Poem by Jonathan GriffithsPugh

Shades Of Betrayal

Sudden shock makes delusion crack
One more photograph one more nail
The deepest blue the darkest black
These are the shades of betrayal

That one missed call that shed new light
The contemptuous deceit the lifted veil
The redest red the cruellest white
These are the shades of betrayal

Hearts deny what the eyes have seen
One blown kiss that can raise a gale
The dullest grey the brightest green
These are the shades of betrayal

The softest touch still turns the rack
One more photograph one more nail
The deepest blue the darkest black
These are the shades of betrayal
