Shadow
Dark clouds heavily covering the sky
like the tears in my eyes that wont run dry
the moon hardly shining
like ur love that is fading
many days i was in state of pain
more than flesh and blood can bear
enough to make a person swear
enough to provoke a saint
my heart shattered into peices
thought i try to be insane
my dreams all comes wasted
coz with you i feel so neglicted
Edward Young says: '' Like our shadows, our wishes lenghten as our sun declines ''. Exactly like in this poem the feeling of melancholy has been encountered so wonderfully that it reflects the awful state of mind of the poetess..... Best Wishes Naseer
