Shadow Life Poem by Arik Fletcher

Shadow Life

Rating: 4.0

There she lies in silent thought,
Lost in the chaos life has wrought,
Through battles that her soul has fought,
Beyond all that she's ever sought.

There she drifts in silent sleep,
Lost in these lands where nightmares creep,
Entombed within this place so deep,
Beyond her heart's protective keep.

There she stays in silent hope,
Lost in a world where few could cope,
Abandoned on this lonely slope,
Beyond the last strand of life's rope.

A very sad and poignant poem Arik, which I am sure many can relate to. Very well written and rhymed.
