Shadows Poem by Christopher Jackson

Shadows

Rating: 5.0

You whisper in my ear.
Your flitting, faltering,
Elegance. Dark against the wall.
Creeping and darting,
In the shadows. Alone.

There’s a chill on the air,
Caused by longings unknown.
We’ll just stick to the shadows,
Whence the two of us have grown,
We’ll just dance in the shadows,
In the shadows. Alone.

Christopher, shadows provide a wonderful concealment from the world... there's no better place to be alone. Good write! ! Brian
