Shadows Eclipsed Poem by Pooja Sinha

Shadows Eclipsed

Rating: 4.5

I have never felt so alone, so lonely
Life has never moved so calmly, quietly
Leaving me feel scarred and bruised
Life has never run away so unfeelingly
When all laugh I tend to participate
And hence I do smile thinly
Bygone the times, bygone the era
I also used to when rejoice heartily.

The heart and soul still wait upon
The past moments to rise alive
Why don’t they know History reappears
Just in books and docs, oh so naive!

End of the story, why endless wait
Blocked luck and happiness won’t get a gate
Shadowed memories torment with unflinching pain
Happiness a mere dream, can’t fight fate.
