'Love is unending,
Love is unbending,
It is a flame unquenchable,
It's strength invincible! '
....So say some mortals
With more sensitivity
Than sense.

They conveniently ignore
The shadows of love
That follow faithfully
...Heartache, despair,
Jealousy, turmoil,
To name but a few.

Think, think and think again
Before you open the gateway
Of your heart to love,
Whether you are willing
To let in the shadows too.
