Shall We Dance Among The Moonbeams... Poem by Joey Christian

Shall We Dance Among The Moonbeams...

Rating: 5.0

Shall we dance among the moonbeams,
hold each other safe and tight.
Play hide and seek in the shadows
by the magic of faint starlight.

Shall we dance among the moonbeams.
Shout our love for all to hear,
kiss the stars with gay abandon;
Make our true feelings ever clear.

Shall we dance among the moonbeams,
whisper softly to each other
of life and love and all such things;
vow never to want another.

Shall we dance among the moonbeams
until the sun stirs in the sky,
hold hands and quietly slip away;
waving darkness a fond goodbye…

Shall we…

I've just read through all your poetry, Ms C ;) You have a lovely talent indeed. This one, I think, was my favourite. I love the playful rhythm and the optomistic theme of love and romance. Here's sending you some hugz! L
