Sham Marriage Poem by Samantha Ashley

Sham Marriage

She picked him out of a crowd, it was no surprise.
Brown eyes blinded by shades of green and grey.
He's good enough to buy her a life or two.
He makes promises of rubies and far away places.
She sells her soul in exchange.
