Shasta Daisy Poem by TerriJo James

Shasta Daisy

Shasta daisy,
Don't you know
That your seed
I have to sow?
It's time to grow
My dear;
Pretty flower,
that grows so bright;
Don't you see
That you're for me?
Shasta daisy,
I'll miss you so
When from this land
I'll have to go.

The petals would close their petals at night to sleep
