Shatter Glass Poem by e.e. wilholt

Shatter Glass

Rating: 2.7

He carries my solitude
To desire it later

Love only a moment of
Dream’s stillness broken
Shattering of glass
By a diamond thrown
Through my mind’s window

A fearful moment
Half-imposed by
Angry chiding doubts of self
And rippled tongues of
Relentless reason blow my ear
To a gentler
Less selfish caring
