Shatter Me Poem by Autumn Winds

Shatter me slowly
It's doesnt matter
I'm almost gone anyway

Throw me in the fire
And watch all I was
Burn away
And turn to ash and dust
Hear the clouds thunder and scream
With the wind as it howls
And the snowflakes as they fall again
We watch the wars through breakable glass
Not knowing that we're just as breakable
Until its too late
And we shatter in the sun and rain
Shatter and then build back up again
Times moves forward
And the waves crash and change
As the moon pulls and tugs
And we watch and stare at vitreous walls
Not knowing when we'll break again

So shatter me and all of me
Slowly
Shatter my heart and shatter my mind
Shatter my emotions
Shatter my time
I'll just break again anyway
So shatter me slowly
Hear me break in the dark
And watch as I slowly fall apart
Shatter me slowly, as I shattered you
