Azul Noir (South Africa)
Shattered
Given like glass whole and clear
trust is broken by your fear
broken trust lies in pieces
dropped as my heart freezes
One mistake or just the last one
it doesn't matter where it comes from
it's the one that broke it
and you're the who owned it
Shattered, scattered never whole again
only good for melting or to be thrown away
something new but never the same
so if that's what you offer then why would I stay
Melted by fire, by work and by blame
in the center will always be this pain
hardened and unclear
full of anger and of fear
Trust shattered. I walk away.
