I can still feel your touch upon my skin
The whisper of your breath against my ear
I can still imagine being in your arms
I can feel you with me when you're not here.

I still remember the way it was
The way our relationship used to be
Back when we were happy just being in love
Back when it felt like you needed me.

It's that part of us that I hold on to
Keeping it close in my mind's embrace
You are all that I ever longed for
Just know that no one could take your place.

But now when I think of you it all seems different
I feel as if something's gone terribly wrong
Nothing's the same and I don't know what to do
I knew that it couldn't stay perfect for long...
