She...



She glides across my mind faceless and obscure,
sprouting from desire, imagination has no part to play,
featureless creature floating around the curves of my mind,
no name, no features, no sound,
only essence, hope and feeling.
She drifts to and frow on the cerebral cortex
occasionally digging deep into inner thought
longing, yearning, she does not know the ripples that she makes.
Not physical, but emotional
not real, but tender.
She swiftly moves into the optic nerve,
from my mind where she was first formed, leaving my mind
how was I to know that this empty vessel of perfection
which I had formed through and through,
could leave me, and that creature, becomes you...
