She Wants To Be Free Poem by Layla Ivison

She Wants To Be Free

Rating: 5.0

She wants to be free
Her life is full and yet at the same time empty.
She feels no emotions. No sorrow or joy.
She goes through the motion, but can feel no pain.
She is a shell of a person because of one thing.
One mans actions so hatefull and cruel.
Innocence stolen, Trust taken away.
Now a child is hidden within.
Behind walls so high, no light can get in.
She lives fear, Terror so true.
And all becasue of of one man she thought she knew.
She feels as though she will never live again.
She searches for a way to end the pain.
All becasue of one mans action's. So hatefull and cruel.
Now she lives in a world all alone. She yearns to be whole.
To tear down the walls. To begin to live again.
She wants to be free.
