Shepherds' Songs Poem by ABD ELHAMID REMILI

Shepherds' Songs

Rating: 5.0

A chanting morning to wake the drowsy world
Hills dreaming in the swinging branches shade
Dry leaves swaying in the finest breeze
Then the light waddled in the deepest cliffs

Splendid horizon when morning rose bright
Flowers, waves revived, birds taking flight
The living world now awake, sending vivid songs
Wake up my sheep, come on lambs, let's throng! ! !

Let's follow the path where the birds move and flock
And fill the valley with bleat, much more joys to rock
Listen to streams whisper, and flowers' scent breathe in
Behold! in the translucent mist, the valley's sleeping

You have the green grass, browse the fresh pastures
Sweet anthems from my flute to take you with rapture
A tune from my heart like a breathing rose
Ascendingm like a happy bird to the sky close

And once into the woods, covered by shady trees
You pick as much grass, flowers and fruits are to please
Fostered by the sunlight, and fully fed by the moon
Quenched in the pearly dew, at dawn's time grown

Joys and cheers in the valleys, or on the hillls
In the cosy shade have rest, if you lack the will
Chew your toughts, and browse the pasture and flip
And listen to the winds anthems over mountains' tip

In the forest, flowers grow, grass, soft and mellow! ! !
And where bees buzz pretty songs, flying to and fro
Still Unblesmished fragrancy, by wicked wolves soul
Nor did the fox either, sneak around to cheat and fool

Perfume so sweet, magic, peace in shade trees
Sense enchanting zephyrs, varied hints of these
Branches dancing to the lights' caress and charm
And evergreens that the dark night could not harm

Secured in the shady woods, you shall never worry
The forest has a child's age, full of plays and beauty
While peoles' age is old, a wrinkled face and heavy
It's a man, lazily plodding over the hill, sad and weary

Graze in the pasture and rest in the forest's safe haven
While i chant and play the flute until blazing of heaven
And when the ripe small herbs start to cast long shadows
Then we walk back to noble home, as always we would do
