I can’t stand to see you in pain,
Or these tears that fall like rain.
You’re one of my best friends,
And I hope it never ends.

Don’t let this whole thing get to you,
Because I don’t want to see you blue.
I know right now it really hurts,
But hopefully one day the pain inverts.

I’m here for you whenever you need me,
If you wish to be alone, I’ll let you be.
I will care for you until the day I die,
And I promise you, that is not a lie.

You are one of the only ones, who accept,
And for that, you earned my full respect.
If ever you need a shoulder to cry on,
I will be there until all the tears are gone.

I promise that I will always love you,
And like a best friend, I’ll always be true.
Anyone who causes your pain or sorrow,
Trust me; they will not live to see tomorrow.

Being a friend is more than just a title,
It is something that should be very vital.
I’ll do whatever I can to make things okay,
Even if it does only last you a day.
