Sherlock Holmes And The Terrible Tale Of The Hound Of Love Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Sherlock Holmes And The Terrible Tale Of The Hound Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Elementary
my dear!

The fingerprints
of desire

are all
over her

& this trail of kisses
(see they are still warm)

leads me
to deduce

that she has been
hard done by someone

& even I can see
that the culprit is

me
& that is why

I have decided
to give myself up

arrested as I am
by her beauty

& so
it is

that I come
...quietly.
