oh the masks we wear
To cover our shattered face
Dreams laid down in trust
Dismissed along the way

What is it the shields us
from the torrents of wind and rain
Streaking the clouds of heaven
In dark, shadowy black

In Light, do we find comfort
In Love, do we find hope
In prayer, do we find redemption
In Faith, all of the above

So by the love of a father
Glory to his name
the glowing angels of heaven
lift you high in your fallen rain.
