Strolling in the city
i witnessed a disturbance
a perturbation
one is stealing
shoplifting in particular
acquiring a pair of slippers
depositing in her bag
in view of the public scene
she was not caught in the act
by the police enforcer in tuck
can somebody ring the alarm'?
flabbergasted how she had a clean get away
just a mediocre event of today
the means employed in order to stay
in this world as they always say...
