There's a story I'd like to tell you
It seems like only yesterday
About a girl who loved so blindly
Chapter one starts out this way

Boy meets girl and girl meets boy
Sharing one anothers dreams
Happiness is theirs forever
Lasting love, or so it seems

Time goes by, the man grows restless
Like a bird locked in a cage
It's time to go, he calmly tells her
The woman cries, now turn the page

She had gave herself so freely
To a man with words so sure
Never once did she believe that
He would turn his back on her

Now her perfect world is shattered
And her dreams are torn apart
Once upon a time is over
Chapter two brings broken heart
