Shostakovich Symphony 15 Poem by Liza Sud

Shostakovich Symphony 15

Music was comforting me all the time,
enticing to deep relaxation.
in the Fifteenth - these rings through Parsifal,
by ticking clock - soul goes to revelation!

The 15th - Shostakovich's last is a strange chamber scale symphony, quoting both Rossini and Wagner! I've never understood it. But I like your reaction: first a comfortable chair, second the music, then a huge leap: SOUL GOES TO REVELATION. that's stunning! I want to follow you in that leap.
