Should Life be Lived? Poem by laura random

Why is life so cruel?
Cruel to some but not to others
Why is life so bad?
Bad to some but not to others

I wish life was easy to take away
Because I can not bare to fight another day
Time and time again I've tried
But it feels like I'm only trying to hide

If I try again and I succeed
Does that make me selfish?
Does that make me mean?

Should I live through the pain?
Or should I choose to break the chain?

I hope you'll choose to live through the pain, rather than breaking the chain. Much comfort reside deeply in every pain, if only we take the pain to seek it. (Report) Reply
