Show Me The Way Poem by Beggar Boy

Show Me The Way

It's all very simple,
Quite simple, of course.
Not a matter of gravity
Or centrifigal force.
Will I still have the courage
To get back on the horse
If I fall?
If I fall...

If the wound will stop bleeding
And I look at the cut
Will it still leave me needing
A way out of the rut?
I'll be the first man on board
And the last one to leave
If you'll show me the way!
O please show me the way!

Yea, the tears are still there
On the cheek, in the eye
When the mirror finds me guilty
And I'm left high and dry
Will the Hands that have caught me
Still teach me to fly
If I fall?
If I fall...

On this desperate road
Will I find my way back
To the place where Truth teaches
That love is a fact?
Past the place where the stain
Is too much for me to bear
I'll take my wound to the Hill
They say the lost are found there.
