Shower Poem by Christina Simmons

Shower

Imagine the water coming down
Hitting the top of my hair
In Seconds whole head
Descending entire figure
Trickling declining the rest of my body...

Exhilarated being comes alive
Sensation becomes riveting spine tingling
Momentarily taken to another globe
A place I want to stay - WOW!

Sky has no limits!
Hoping the phone don't ring....
Ring! ! ! Brr ring! ! ! Brr ring! ! !
Let it ring! Don't answer....

The doorbell won't ring!
Ring! ! ! Brr ring! ! Brr ring! !
Standing still they'll go away

Meanwhile water's best buddy
Clarifying MOI
Making ME squeaky clean
Slowly seducing me

Scrubbing my arms, legs and back
Feel so fine! Damn!
Remaining with this smooth touch
Almost seeing a shine - feeling a gleam

Sexy me sensual smile!
My frame is artistic! Complexion replenished
Cherish every part of me; Fresh and exuberant that‘s me
Every trace of DIRT down the plughole!
I'm now ready steady! For a call

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this as a means of telling myself what it means to me having a shower. And why taking a bath is of importance to me. The moment I take a shower I forget about trails and tribulations.
