Secluded inside this flower abide
a complex bud that would huddle and hide
hide because its tangled deep
inside
covered by flowery petals of smiles
why?
is it not a pretty site
is it not part of a beautiful flower
Why does it hide its ugliness
giving out sweet perfume from day to day
it hurts to hide
like all the ugliness
that holds my petals together
all the painful thorns that shield me as a beautiful flower.
