Sick Of Seeing So Much Violence On The Screen Poem by Hebert Logerie

Sick Of Seeing So Much Violence On The Screen

Rating: 5.0

I am going to scream,
There is too much mayhem on the screen,
And too much chaos and violence in my dreams.
I can hear other screams,
Coming from the streets.
The model just got kicked in her spleen.
That's horrible. That's not clean,
That's dirty. That's domestic violence,
That makes no sense.
Nowadays, there is violence everywhere.
We are drenched or soaked in terror.
They have no respect for Mother Nature.
This is hell on earth. It is hard to figure
Out this nonsense. There is too much violence.
People just shoot and wait for a response,
For cries of hell that can pierce the eardrums.
They stop and freeze, pull and drop bombs.
People do not talk to each other anymore.
They break fences, windows, and doors.
People do not love each other anymore.
They curse, spit on and set ablaze the new floors.
There is too much bloodshed in the neighborhood.
Let's stop the killings and hand out books and food
To the people, instead of guns, bullets, and death.
Let's stop this crime, this robbery, this theft
In progress. Let's stop the torture on the screen.
Let's have a better world. Let's come out clean.
Show me less fighting, less violence in the news.
Tell me some nice stories of two lovers in the cruise:
A husband and a wife,
Who are enjoying life,
Who are having a great time,
Free of crime,
Free of violence,
And nonsense.

Yes, way too much violence on television. Is this where people are getting their ideas from? Swearing is now accepted, full nudity, no rules set. Anyway I agree.
