Sickness is but a word!

Sickness is spreading,
People need a cure!
Will people survive,
We are not so sure!

People crying,
People dying,
People trying,
To stay alive!

People saving,
people helping,
People praying,
No need to shimmer and shive!

Please pray for all the sick people out there,
they need every prayer!
Don't let let any sickness,
grow into a slayer!

In the end....

Sickness in but a word,
Fearing it is absurd! !

(Please tell everyone to read this poem, it is very important to pray for sick people, who knows maybe someone you love is one of them, Nomatter what your religion is, Just pray for God to help! !)

Great poem indeed, nice rhymes, still I'm sick and I wish to die more than I actualy want to stay alive....
I don't actualy beleive in God, even though I use his name in loads of ocasions...
I mean, how can anyone beleive in God if he doesn't do a damn about humanity?
There are rich and poor people, the rich ones live happily the poor ones, die without food, how is that fair? if God does exist, he should have done anything for his creations...
Humans are goint to destroy themselves, thanks for the global warming...where's God to give humans a hand here? he isnt going to...
Miracles? people get cured from some wierd desiese out of nowhere.... cience can prove wrong, people can cure themselves if they dont give up on living, it strenghts their organism against sickness, not 100% secure but it often saves people, and of course there are also those that what ever that life hits them with, they stand still, even if its against their will (my case) ... what can you say about that? is it just badluck? oh dont tell me that someone wants me to be alive and preys for me...or is it God messing with his creations, how can you pray to someone that only screws the crap out of you? Your poem's idea is really good and i really appreciate your real feelings towards the sick people and Yes we have to pray to God to cure any sick person...but we have to remember that we are mortals and someday we are going to die..and i hope we would win the perfect paradise..GOOD WORK..keep it up :) (Report) Reply

Hi Kuji Angel - You have to realise there are two forces in the World. Disease and Death a Pandemics are the work of Satan who brought sina nd evil and death into Gods perfect World. The way to combat all these evil things and Satan himself it to take all our problems to the Lord in Prayer. There is only ONE GOD so He hears all our Prayers and heals the sick and gives power and strength to the Medics to hep them to cope. In you poem you show the contrast 'People Dying' 'People Praying' Sickness is just a word but with Swine Flu and Aids and other Pandemics Satan is frightening us to death. If we serve God and pray when we are alive - then when we do die eventually we go to live with Him forever in Paradise. Lovely poem ancouraging us to pray for those who are sick and fearful - you are so so wise Kuji - I have opened your score with a TEN. Love in poetry - JOHN. (Report) Reply

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
