Sigh Poem by melissa fox

Sigh

So many times
I've joined the mimes
A silent retreat into defeat
suddenly surrendering into everything right
I try I try with all my might
to stop the curve, the muscle, the feel
i cant believe i cannot deal
with a small little thing such as this
a tiny burst of happiness
I dont know
how to not let it show
that tiny bend, curve, steal
something like how i should feel
my oh my
how I sigh
at a simple fact all the while
a simple smile.
