Sighing Quietly Poem by Rick Elpers

Sighing Quietly

Rating: 4.5

Her turning away has left me
Wordless and empty

Floating in a dense fog
almost numb

Perhaps hopeless
no reason to hope

Trudge through
Another day

Tasks blindly
Associated with life

Listening to sad music
While she dances

A powerful poem, maybe she is not dancing! maybe you should be dancing, as the old saying goes when one door closes, another door opens!
