Silence Poem by Shazza Rixx

Silence

The silence is so suffocating
Your anger speaks so softly
Like a little voice inside my head
I know this wont end soon

And as the minutes tick by
Not a word
Not a thought
Nothing passes between us

An angry silence
That speaks so loud

Memories flash through my mind
Another day not different from this
Just another silent moment
Just another angry glare

And as the minutes tick by
Not a word
Not a thought
Nothing passes between us

An agry silence
That speaks so loud

I miss the laughter in this room
The smile I saw so often
Our talk, our chatter
Anything to fill this hole

And as the minutes tick by
Not a word
Not a thought
Nothing passes between us

An angry silence
That speaks so loud...
