Silence Hears Poem by shokat habib

Silence Hears

the heart heard a great ache
the great minds guilty gathered
pain punished in penance dark
a tear tore from the eyes pure
words whispered but not heard
a bang and flowers were nothing
the wild wind whistled into not
fields flew left and right not knowing
lightning lit the blinded young boy
earth tossed banged and turned
boy brave sat shivering in bangs
not a whimper nor a whisper sighed
escaped in eye of the bloody storm
clouds ravaged tore and thundered
dark was the day death flowed unsatiated
bombs banged to dark deeds of greed
at noon owls hooted and hyenas laughed
evil walked in sophisticated scientific ways
bombs banged and womens breast cried
wounds opened in rivers of a long scream
should guns of the opressor annihilate
the pure and perfect innocence into void
heads of babies smashed lie in arms twisted
o oppressors fear your destiny and destruction
away in some lonely dark alley your flesh will rot
traitor of humanity unfit for maggots the mind smells
but alas the big bang took the blind boy into void
smiling not knowing into nothingness he sailed
the wild wind whispered why why why why why
silence hears silence sits silence now and here
