Silence In The Garden Poem by Lindemberg Pereira da Silva

Silence In The Garden

No voices...
Just the sound of the wind,
walking between the leaves.
My heart rests in this place,
and my lover between those flowers -
when every morning the sun comes out
to brighten my pale face.
I hear the waves breaking
The stars coming in the midnight
to make me company.
A sweet melody dances
inside my mind and all my senses.
When the winter comes..
A petal falls
A poem dies
over my lover's hands.
Soundless steps walking toward me,
the night sleeps..
Silence in the garden.
