Silence In The Snow Poem by Carolyn Ford Witt

Silence In The Snow

Rating: 4.8

The snow was falling softly
In the quiet of the night,
As I looked out of my window
T'was such a glorious sight.

I ran out to my door step
Just to look around,
And saw the softest whiteness
That lay upon the ground.

All I heard was silence,
Street lamps reflecting on the snow.
The white flakes falling faster
Forecast the greatest Winter show.

No tracks disturb this perfect scene
In the whiteness that I see,
Just silence and the falling snow,
And now.... my God, surrounding me.....

God Bless!
