Silent Suicide Poem by Kelsey Joe

Silent Suicide

Somewhere in the countryside
In a bathroom locked up tight,
A girl is huddled, crying away,
She just wants to die tonight.
A bloodstained knife is by her side
She tries to catch her breath,
All she wants is the world to stop
But her mind wanders on about death.
Tears and blood drip on the floor
And she screams,
Silence.
She takes a bottle of pills
And cuts once more
But now she's just a dead corpse on the floor.
Her parents came home hours after
And knocks on the door calling her name,
They bring it down with a thunderous boom
And there she lays with her scarred up veins.
Mommy screamed, Daddy cried
They both couldn't believe that they would miss,
All the hints, They would have never assumed
That such a happy little girl would turn into this.
Her silent screams were unnoticed
And this is what became of it.
