Silver (Little) Lining Poem by SkyeZia Barletta

Silver (Little) Lining

Rating: 5.0

Living in a world
Where nobody sees.
Every human being
Blinded blatantly.
Its a one for one situation
A clear extract of manifestation.
I can't live like this anymore
The grievances of a world full
Of hate.
Going back to date
When times were different.
Spies were spies and gold
Was magnificent.
Exploration was a lifestyle
So was living like a wild child.
Not in the sense of YOLO
Why anyone would go so low
Is beyond my knowledge.
These times are lacking the myth
Known as 'courage'
Settling for less
Is what's known best.
A mistake made time and time again.
Across the earth's bend
Its a norm...
Should I go on?
Or let bygones be bygones?
This is all a joke
Indecent wall of smoke.
Shades of grew turn to dusk.
I close my eyes hoping I don't get up.
To the same old shame of living in vain
Get up to your daily routine.
Spend your hours behind a smokescreen.
Is this really where you want to be?
You made your choice
Its over now
The ambition of a kid is quite profound.
You had your chance, its my turn now
To open doors where I'm found.
Mistakes will be teachers
On the daily bread.
I'm getting the loopholes you left
Into my head.
I'm doing it right, don't you forget
I'm the rare one born
With one main threat.

A mistake made time and time again. Across the earth's bend is so sad but mistake will be rectified with courage and dignity. Nature is favourable t us. This poem is amazing. Forgetting past you are doing right. This is nice.
